We are delighted to announce that Factory Drop has received more than 26 Festival invitations for screenings in 2024, hitting of with the film’s official world premiere in Montreal, Canada at the prestigious Fantasia International Film Festival on August 3rd. You can find a listing of all festivals and awards on our film site here.

After Nocturnal Ectasy and Occasus, Factory Drop is our third short film supported by state funding. In this fifteen-minute sci-fi dystopia, two workers must escape from a mysterious factory after an unauthorized dance. Anne-Marie Warburton and Preslav Mantchev from the Freie Tanzkompagnie Kiel have choreographed the dance sequences and portray the main characters Mia and Juri. The Hamburg film project was filmed in Kiel and Schwerin in autumn 2022. The cinematography was done by Monika Plura and Tobias Meik. Another power team consists of the creative duo Dennis Stöcker and Lena Schønemann for the set design. We would like to thank our amazing film team and all supporters, and we look forward to the upcoming festival screenings.
