WHAT WERE YOUR BIGGEST CHALLENGES WITH THIS SHORT FILM?
One of the biggest challenges was definitely my pregnancy. I was in my eighth month, and my husband, Tobi Meik, took on the role of the second DoP (Director of Photography). This allowed me the freedom to primarily work from the dolly, while he handled the Steadicam. An elevator failure and the climb through nine floors of an abandoned silo were also physically demanding. Add to that the omnipresent dust and the unpleasant smell caused by pigeon and rat droppings. And, of course, the tight budget, with which we nonetheless tried to produce a high-quality film.

WHAT WERE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL MOMENTS?
One of the most beautiful moments was seeing how our visions came to life through the combination of lighting, set design, and camerawork. Dennis in set design and Muck as the head gaffer did fantastic work. I could really go all out visually and felt like I was truly creating art. It was also wonderful that I could shoot despite my pregnancy, and I'm very thankful for the trust that Petja and Jana put in me.

WHAT'S NEXT?
First and foremost, I hope, of course, that our film gets as much attention as possible. I would be thrilled if it were shown at many festivals and won numerous awards.
